Filtered is a conceptual work developed as part of an ongoing series exploring social expectations of women.
This project focuses on the experience of scrolling on Instagram and the ways in which digital content shapes perception, behavior and self-image.
The challenge was to translate an abstract, continuous digital experience into a tangible editorial and spatial form that reflects both intimacy and overload.
The work needed to represent both the personal, private moment of consumption and the expansive, repetitive nature of digital scrolling.
System
-
Dual-format system combining book and spatial installation
-
Book format reflects the intimate experience of content consumption
-
Poster extension expresses continuous and infinite scrolling
-
