Under the guise of empowerment, offering guidance and help, content creators on Instagram make cynical, humiliating and belittling use of women's self-image. As in the public sphere, on social media, women are exposed to unfiltered interference in their lives — what you wear, what you eat, how you behave or speak. You are never good enough, you always need to improve. Social expectations of women still exist, even in 2024.

Continuing the series of books "Intimidating, Leopard-printed and Unapologetic" that focused on the experiences of women on the Israeli street, the focus of this work is another space that produces many interactions that validate women with the social expectations of them.

The work was created with the aim of presenting the experience of scrolling on Instagram and emphasizing the real meaning of the words and messages heard online on a daily basis.

Through two formats that support each other, an overall experience was created that describes, on the one hand, the intimate moment in front of the phone (in the form of the book), and on the other hand, the power of the endless scrolling experience that is reflected in the long poster that spills from the ceiling.

All texts in the booklet were taken from Instagram videos shared by Israeli content creators.
