Over the years I was surprised to find out that there are men who do not like that I'm confident in myself and know my worth. I was called "hysterical" when I cared, "aggressive" when I worked with men who wanted to lessen me, and "bitch" when I stood my ground.
The books are based on first-hand experiences of young women in regard to various expectations and on imagery from the Israeli street as a space that creates various interactions for women. Each one of the books stands alone and together they create a broad Female Being.

Intimidating, Leopard-printed and Unapologetic is a series of books dealing with social expectations from women.

Intimidating
The book "Intimidating" deals with the expectations of feminine behavior — way of talking and body language, forced positivity and weakness (or lack of self-esteem). The book includes stories from girls and footage from a hidden camera that I used to walk around the street every day for a month and used to document people looking at me and examining me.

Leopard-printed
The book "Leopard-printed" focuses on expectations in regard of feminine body — dressing, body care and the "diet culture".Out of a desire to talk about the body without showing the body, the book mainly includes texts — women stories, the article "Your body, in my possession" by Sharon Mayevsky, the spoken word piece "be a lady they said" by Camille Rainvilleand various "compliments" that many women hear on the street.

Unapologetic
The book "Unapologetic" is my personal answer to the social expectations described in the first two books and include text by me, quotes from songs and quotes by feminist philosophers. The book is printed and bound in French folds, inside the fold the reader can have a pick of a poster from the street divided between the pages.
